Hi, I am learning to program for PalmOS. My first application is growing up (a lot of things, just to see how they work, but no usability). One thing is strange: I was able to get dwSecret=PrefGetPreference(prefHidePrivateRecords); which shows me if the records are to be shown or not. After this I made dwSecret=!dwSecret; and PrefSetPreference(prefHidePrivateRecords, dwSecret); Now, I could see or hide the private records from DateBook just by running my little program! (??!!?) I run on POSE (I'll buy my PalmIIIx in november...) There is a bug in POSE or the security is not so strong on Palm? Sorry, maybe it's a stupid question, but I can't figure out the answer.
