i just checked parens (uses mathlib) and it said
cos(90)=-1.60812264968e-16, but when i do cos(89.9999999999999)=0
that is 13 9s after 89, no more no less. maybe you could subtract
.0000000000001 before sending it to the mathlib. it works in parens.
of course tan works wrong in parens.
who knows?
