POSE problem.- Newbie

[CCDAKE]

I am attempting to debug an Palm application using POSE emulator using  
version 2.1.d.26 on a Symbol device with Palm III.  When POSE starts, the 
emulator screen displays and I get a message stating " The Current 
application (UIAppShell) has performed an illegal operation (bus error)." 
How do I resolve this problem?  
Also, I tried to use the Palm OS Device to debug but I just don't know send 
the short cut ..2 command. 

Please help!!
