Steve,
I thought I would let you know that you are not alone on this one. I
don't care how good the book is, I will not puchase a book in that title
line.
I am a person who is proud that I use my intellect to make a living. By
purchasing a book in that title line, I acknowledge that I am "dumb". I am
not dumb.
I have browsed through several of the titles and the quality is variable.
Some look like excellent resources while others are rush to
market/superficial tree killers.
The technical books maket has very strong competition. Combine it with
internet resources like this one and I have plenty of alternatives. Yeah,
it's only a title... it's also my money.
