Do you want to set the creator ID or the DB type?
'appl' is usually used as at db type. Plus it is all lower case and
reserved for Palm
you can change the file type (in CodeWarrior) in the program
Settings->target->FileMapping->FileType field. I wouldn't suggest setting
your creator ID to it.
