Hi - I have an app which uses a single-line edit field to accept a value which can be up to 255 chars long (a DNS value, so rarely will it be this long). The typical width that is displayed on the screen is around 32 characters (sufficient for most DNS values, I think), but entering more characters than can be displayed does work, even though you can't see it. Entering keyboard mode presents the same problem - there is only a single edit line to enter text into, and everything to the right of the field is obscured. Is there some way to jigger the keyboard editor to use a multi-line display (as is done for Note field in Address) when editing this particular field? SysKeyboardDialog is the only call I have found in the help which seems related, but it only allows specification of keyboard type, apparently using the field definition to determine single- or multi-line mode. Or, is there some other technique that can be used to display the "right overflow" text in such cases?
