Fabian, you have my vote.  Assembly is turing into a lost art.  I can see in the next 
year or so, there are going to be a lot of
applications that will be red-lining the Palm Computing Platform and the output of the 
slickest C compiler may not cut it.  My
prediction is that there is going to be a real surge and revival of assembly coding as 
PDAs start to hit mainstream.  We are only
working on a 16 MHz machine and every little trick may be called for in a few 
applications.

We're back in the late 70's / early 80's again!
