The message does start with "During a regular check up ....". I think your
guess about the stack overflow may be right. I am allocating some structures
on the stack. Is there any way to check free stack space?

All the checkboxes in the Debug Options dialog are turned on, including the
"Stack Almost Overflow". Four checkboxes are disabled, but they are also
turned on. They are:
Storage Heap Access.
Low Stack Access.
Uninitialized Stack Access.
Uninitialized Chunk Access.

The message is
"The emulator is not ready to handle a debugger message at this time.
(Perhaps it is turned off?)"
The message box caption is "Palm OS Emulator". It keeps on coming even after
clicking OK. If I terminate POSER now, the message box goes off. However
Codewarrior also hangs at this point.
Thanks for the help and prompt reply!
