Subject: Resource Question - Font doesn't show up

I have an odd problem. I have a form that has two buttons. One
displays an up arrow (Symbol \008) and the other displays a
down arrow (Symbol \007).

Inside my IDE Constructor (PilotMag) the arrow shows up just
fine for both arrow buttons.

I have viewed the *.rcp file and both have the exact same format
with the exception of the char number:
BUTTON "\007" ID btnEnd AT (1 26 8 9) USABLE LEFT ANCHOR NOFRAME FONT 3
BUTTON "\008" ID btnBeg AT (104 115 8 9) USABLE LEFTANCHOR NOFRAME FONT
3

The problem is that when the app is compiled, the Up Arrow font does not
show up on the form. The button is there and functions but the arrow
character does not display.

Both buttons are the same size. Both are not covered by anything. I
have moved the button around and no change. The \007 character
shows up but the \008 does not.

I have even changed the button for the Up Arrow to use \007 and it then
shows up. But if I change it back to \008, it disappears.

Anyone know what causes this? I am using pilrc as the resource
compiler.

Mike
