I don't know. I figured out what my problem was (40 levels of
recursion at crash time), modified the binary using Insider to confirm
that a deeper stack would fix it, and then realized there was a
non-recursive solution before I finished the mods to prc-tools
required to make the stack size a parameter.
There's probably a way to set stack size on a per-project basis. CW
for the Mac used to have such a thing, IIRC, and the notion of a
resource setting for default stack size is lifted right off the Mac.
