I have an application that displays the graffiti shift indicator by enabling the "Auto Shift" flag for the text item. This works as expected. The problem arises when I start in a situation where the shift indicator is on and display a dialog. After diaplying a dialog with an edit object and returning to my original form, the graffiti shift indicator is gone. Is there some call I am missing to tell the edit object to reevaluate the graffiti shift status, or is there some way to save and restore the state around a dialog call? Mike Westerfield
