I have developped an application that uses the serial port for (via cable)
comunicating with a PC.
Now I have an infrared GSM modem, the Ericsson Mobile Office DI 27, and I
need to change my program in order to use this modem.
My old communication module was based on SerSend and SerReceive system calls
to implement my own application protocol.
Is there an easy way to transform the code for using the infrared modem
instead of the serial port? Can anybody help me? A simple code example will
be very usefull.
Can I use an standard conventional modem (not a GSM modem) connected to the
PC on the other side of the communication?
