Palm below water,

doesn't offer any information on how to purchase this device.

So unless I'm wrong about #1, or anyone has more information about #2, it 
looks like those of us (and I'm one) who potentially need to USE a Palm 
in a rainy environment are stuck with the baggie method.

Or, keep waiting for the long awaited and still just around the corner 
Symbol SPT1700, a rather pricey alternative to the baggie. The 1700 
wasn't designed for underwater use, but it IS designed for use in the 
rain.
