Thanks Nick, your assumption is correct and yes I am planning a
CmdDisplayAlarm.

I confirmed that the alarm is not being removed by calling AlmGetAlarm in
AppStop; further, subsequent re-entry to the app confirmed that the alarm is
still set!

When I finally find the bug I'll drop you a note.
