Well, here is some free advice, worth just what you paid for it...
Get the Metrowerks SDK for the Palm. If you look around, you can get it
for $299,
I think at Cyberian Outpost.
Then, ask yourself if you need to synchronize Palm data with mainframe
(oops, PC)
data. If so, you need to write a Conduit (and also, perhaps, a PC/Mac
application.)
If you need to write a conduit, choose C++ or Java.
If you chose C++, buy MS Visual C++ version 6 and then call them for
a downgrade to version 5
If you chose Java, buy Symantec Visual Cafe and use that
Buy "Palm Programming" and "Palm OS Programming for Dummies."
Register as a developer with Palm and download all the documentation.
