This problem is typically caused by Windows using CR/LF end-of-line markers,
while gdb expects Unix end-of-line markes (just LF). I'm not sure what most
people do to correct the problem; one solution is to run your source code
through an end-of-line marker converter. I don't know of any off the top of my
head, or I'd recommend one.

Subject: Incorrect line numbers in gdb

Hello,

I'm fairly new to Palm programming, and I've been having a perplexing
problem with gdb. I'm using:

version 3.0 of the SDK
POSE 2.1d26
gdbplug v. 0.2
gcc 2.7.2.2-kgpd-071097.
 gdb 4.16 (i386-unknown-cygwin32 --target m68k-palmos-coff)
Windows 98

When I enter gdb, it shows incorrect line numbers. Is this a known bug,
and if so, do I need a different gcc, gdb, gdbplug, or what? Or if it's not
a known bug, is this a common user error with a know correction?
