Get the Developer's kit from Handspring's website. It's free, and
includes detailed drawings of the Visor, including Silkscreen area. I'm
guessing, based on the drawings, that the dividing line is at the same
place as the English Palm units.

(But this point you brought up is all the more reason to keep looking
for a function that defines the boundary, rather than hard-coding, no?
