I'm trying to use the modem HotSync button to a) launch my app (easy to do via the preference) and b) get it to go down a certain path that is different than if launched from the launcher, e.g. how HotSync works. I've read the FAQ on Palm's site and it alludes to this (how do you know when you are about to HotSync), but isn't quite what I'm looking for. Will I have to resort to trap patching to do this or is there a way to get the OS to send a different launch code when hitting the button or can I read the event queue and find out the last button pressed (this I doubt as I suspect the events get pulled out of the queue and that's it). (I've been following the discussions relating to HotSync and such and they don't appear to directly pertain to my question.) Any hints would be much appreciated. Thanks.
