OK. I'm lame :-/
The readme was from prc-tools and indicated that no hacks were needed since
version 0.4.0. I modified the hello program from Palm Programming to use a
global variable to get the ID of the GoodbyeMoonAlert. It ran without
problems! Just to verify that everything was OK, I recompiled using the -S
flag to get the assembly code and sure enough, it was using A4 to access the
globals.
Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. Anyone have any ideas when such a
patch will be available?
