Info-ZIP may not be a library, but it is distributed
in source form.  It is a multi-platform, open-source,
ZIP/UNZIP utility, which makes ZIP the distribution
format of choice.  I have no clue why most UNIXers
still cling to .gz when they can speak the same language
as the rest of us (and no, "rest" is not just Wintel).
