It shouldn't be a problem - you can use file streams. However, you'll
probably
have to write your own DmCreateDatabaseFromImage(), but that shouldn't be
a big problem. The speed is another issue.

Speed shouldn't be a problem if you need zipped files only for archival
purposes. You can always put "Please wait..." message on the screen. :-))

MMPro zip plug-in I mentioned is not a sprinter, but it's OK for what it's
intended.

IMO, it's more mind-exercise than something very useful. :-))
However, if you think about Visor+Springboard flash modules....
You would be even able to run a Palm OS software archive from such a
combination (if someone writes ftp server for the Palm OS). :-))
