Hello,
Opening files in Constructor 1.1.3 for Windows 98 is inconvenient.
File>Open_Project_File always starts in My_Documents,
even if I am using Constructor for the second (or later)
time. Is there a way to start in the directory where my
project files exist?
I have tried setting the properties for a Desktop Shortcut to
Constructor so that the start directory for the program
is my project directory, but that doesn't change where
Constructor searches for files to open.
One method that seems to work, but is still somewhat awkward,
is to double click on the icon of the *.RSRC file. This will
start Constructor with the correct file open, but I still need to
navigate through Explorer to get to the RSRC file.
The IDE has two features that would be useful in Constructor:
File>Open_Recent
File>Find_and_Open
Is there a way to activate these features in Constructor? If not,
when will they be added to the program?
