I'm writing a program requiring communication between a PC and a Palm
computer. As far as I know, in order to be able to send data from the PC to
the Palm the serial port on the Palm needs to be permanently open listening.
This involves spending much energy which does not suit me.
I read in the e-mail list that there is another way for the Palm to wait for
incoming data - Dave Lippincott says, "There is a way to use a receive only
handler" but I should look into the Beam receive section of the OS source
code. But at the moment I do not have access to this source code.
Does anybody know of any example code or ANY OTHER INFO treating this
problem? It's urgent.
