The documentation for the MemoPad tutorial in SDK 3.1
included with Codewarrior 6 beta is defective. When I try to
read this file ("Palm OS Tutorial Windows.pdf") in Acrobat 3.0,
I get this error message:
Unable to extract the embedded font
'DACLAA+Palatino-Roman+2'. Some
characters may not display or print
correctly.'
Nearly all characters are unreadable. This document is also
unreadable in Acrobat 4.0.
Please tell me how to get a readable copy of this file. At this
moment I am printing out a diff of MemoPad.c, v. 21, from the
3.0 SDK, and MemoPad.c, v. 22, from the 3.1 SDK. I hope
to diagnose the bizarre errors that occur in version 21 of
MemoPad, so that I can also diagnose the similar errors
that occur in my program. There are 90 differences between
these files, so readable documentation will be very useful.
Version 22 of MemoPad seems to be free of these errors.
Or maybe I just haven't encountered them yet.
Also, is there a separate document that explains what was
done to fix the bugs in v. 21 of MemoPad.c?
