I know this had been hashed out in April, but I need to ask if there is a
solution yet to this problem. I just bought a Palm IIIx three days ago and
already it has exhibited the no alarm wakeup bug. Is this fixed in OS3.3?

The problem is that I turned on the IIIx and immediately got an alarm dialog
and the chime for a datebook entry that was 20 minutes past. I thought it
was strange so I then went into one of my programs (which has an alarm
feature) and set it for 1 minute. Same thing, no wakeup and when I turn it
on it immediately fires. I then did a warm reset and it works again.

The funny part about this is that it had only been a couple of hours since my
last warm reset (ProxiWeb problems). My activity today was using tons of
serial port networking with the Minstrel III. I had to warm reset around
three times today because of ProxiWeb fatal errors.. you know just the plain
dialog that says "Fatal Exception" (no explanation) with a reset button.

Does serial port activity have something to do with it, or maybe the "Fatal
Exception" reset doesn't work 100% (I might have done that as the last warm
reset)?
