We have built an application,
that we would like to sell as commercial.
That is we have trial version with restricted fitness
and complete one.
It is not shareware, trial version is downloadable freely,
the full version is available after payment,
those are two different binaries.
Now tell me please, who had done that before,
what is the most common way to form commercial release.
Do we have to provide serial numbers,
or some sort of binding to device,
or it is just fine to make no protection at all,
in hope that people will pay for tech. support.
What approach is used in your company?
