The lack of 'done' button thing is stronger than a convention. It's
actually a user interface guideline that Palm suggests for all applications.
That's not to say that you *can't* do one. People do plenty of things that
Palm doesn't suggest. It's just that if you want your app to behave
consistently with the rest of the apps for Palm OS devices, you don't need
a done button.
Plus, not including one is less code and more screen real-estate for your
app. I'm surprised you're not interested in that! :-)
