How to make the Find dialog stop coming up in Palm OS 3.5:
1. Tap the Find icon and verify the dialog comes up. Cancel it.
2. Bring up any other modal dialog. For example, switch to the
Applications screen and bring up the Preferences.
3. While that modal dialog up up, tap the Find icon. The Find dialog
will not appear, which is correct, since another dialog is already up.
(This is the key step of this scenario.)
4. Exit from the modal dialog (OK, Cancel, whatever) back to a non-modal
form such as Applications screen.
5. Tap the Find icon again. The Find dialog does _not_ come up, but it
should. Oops! The Find dialog is disabled from now on until you do a
soft reset.
(This bug is new in 3.5, doesn't happen in 3.3 or earlier.)
