Short answer: No.
Long answer: Yes, but it isn't documented and very cryptic.
The PalmOS is build on top of a multi-threaded, preemptive RTOS by Kadek
but only one of the threads is exposed for application development. The
rest is internal to Palm Computing. I think there are some hacks out
there to access the underlying thread manager but nothing officially
supported by Palm nor guaranteed to work with future OS releases.
