Palm VII PQA FORM problem

I've got a Web Clipping PQA that contains:

 <FORM ACTION="http://1.2.3.4:8800/plsql/Phone">
   :
   :
 </FORM>

It appears that the Palm VII or the Palm proxy does not support Form
requests on ports other than 80 (http).  Am I corrrect in this assumption?
If so, is there another way to access my CGI script as it's required to
operate on an alternate port.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
