I am the author of a fairly recent Palm game (Pocket Scorch) and a while
back I got a strange bug report of "pen input slowing down and becoming
unusable".

Is there any possibility I am causing the event queue to stack up by not
allowing enough time between polls? I followed the SubHunt sample quite
closely when writing my event loop, but with the difference that the
application usually draws frames "as fast as it can". I have yet to hear
back from the user to get any details on the version of PalmOS and device
used.

The application doesn't access any lower level functionality than what is
exposed in the 3.0 SDK headers, and doesn't try to alter the input
behavior in any way.

Any ideas are most welcome.
