No. Frankly, I got a little discouraged with the whole issue, especially
since your reply is the first one I've seen. Nothing ever came back from a
Palm representative acknowledging the bug. (Or if it did, I missed it.)
My long term solution is to replace the Palm field with one of my own. I
eventually need to do that anyway for reasons besides the persistent bugs.
Besides, at this point, fixing the bugs is like shutting the barn door after
the horses have run away: My program still needs to run on the older Palm
devices. What is needed, I think, is a reliable list of bugs and safe
workarounds from Palm--workarounds they will test with future ROMs to make
sure our code doesn't break.
