It turns out it was stupidity on my part.  The manual says we need to
switch from StartupCode.lib to MSL Runtime Palm OS....lib, and
that's what I had neglected to do.

Thanks for your advice about other launch codes.  That will probably
save me from a bad mistake in the near future.
