I've seen this problem before and I'm trying to track it down. There are a
number of causes for it. One of the things you may want to try is closing
all applications before opening a .rsrc file. There appears to be a
threading/CPU usage bug in which Constructor would hang if you opened too
many applications (or CPU-intensive ones) when you open a .rsrc file. Also,
if your partition which contains the .rsrc file is compressed, this may also
happen. You may want to check for both to see if it helps. Let me know how
it turns out.
