this forum i thought i will give it a try and may be somebody will be able

I am a part of a research team out here, trying to figure out how to (or
they already are being...) use devices for ecommerce web sites?
can somebody point me to a definite resource for getting information on s/w
development for devices with ecommerce in focus?
as far as i can make out s/w development will be required both for the
device and the web site hosting the contents for the devices
I dont just want timer, scheduling kind of applications - what i am looking
for is using devices for ecommerce on the net.
The devices can be palmtops, mobile phones or any things else anybody can
suggest.
