3.3 Upgrade Utility - Support for non-Mac/Windows?

Since only MacOS and Windows is supported with regard to the installation
utility for upgrading a Palm to OS3.3, is it possible to get hold of
developer documentation for implementing an installer on unsupported
platforms i.e. UNIX, AmigaOS etc? Or some form of reference source code?

Being a Linux/AmigaOS based person, it's a little troublesome to make the
upgrade, and there's quite a bit of demand on an Amiga/Palm users list I'm
on for such a utility.
