Disabling fldChangeEvent

Hi,

I have a very curious problem here. I need to change a field inside the
fldChangeEvent handler. The problem is that this generates another
fldChangeEvent, creating a perpetual loop.

Is there a way to disable the event posting by the Field manipulation
routines?
