Title: [3.5] Bug in table selection

I found a bug in my own app running on the 3.5 release ROM. The first thing I did was to check if the PIM apps have the same bug. Sure enough, Address exhibits the same flaw. Here's the scenario:

• Run Address.
• Tap the New button, fill in 'a' for the last name, and tap the Done button.
• Repeat with 'b'.
• The screen now shows 'b' selected.
• Type or write 'a' (into the lookup field).
• The screen now shows 'a' selected as well as most of 'b'.

This bug occurs in both release and debug ROMs, running on Poser, emulating a Palm III, IIIx, or color device. It doesn't occur in Palm OS 3.3.

I don't know if this is a bug in the OS or a "difference of opinion" between the app and the OS.
