Creator ID in the To Do List Application

In the sample application To Do List, I am lost at the Creator ID variable
sysFileCToDo.  The first call as I can find is in the StartApplication
event:
       dbP = DmOpenDatabaseByTypeCreator (toDoDBType, sysFileCToDo,
dmModeReadWrite);

Where did it get initialized?  Thanks.
