I just decided I want to get into Palm programming. I took a couple of
classes on C and C++ programming back in high school, but now I'm in
college and they are teaching all of the intro to CS classes in Java. So
I'm a much better Java programmer than a C/C++ programmer. My questions
are these:
1) Is there a Java VM available for PalmOS? How much memory does it take?
What OS does it require? Is it good for actual development yet? Does it
interface well with the PalmOS API?
2) How well does OOP work in C++? I'm more comfortable with OOP than
procedural programming but I have yet to see any Palm source code written
in C++, let alone with OOP. Am I going to have memory problems if I write
programs with OOP design?
