I don't know about easier but I definitely enjoy working with the Palm OS
much much much much much much more than CE. Writing apps for CE is a little
faster because of the 'visual' part of Visual C++ but overall I like
CodeWarrior better. POSER makes debugging Palm apps easy (with CE you need
NT to use the emulator) Plus - Palm Developer Support is so much better than
Windows CE support. As a registered Palm Platform developer you get direct
access to Palm engineers. (let Microsoft try that!)
I don't use my Palm for email so I can't help you there
