Mini app icon

I'm having trouble creating a mini icon for my application. (CW R6 under windows
NT)

Whenever I edit a multi bit icon (cicn)  and then close the bitmap-editor the
bitmap is cleared. This also happens if I load an exisiting application (one of
the CW examples) and edit one of their multi bit icons (cicn). This results in
me having a completely blank mini icon rather than the default mini icon.

Is this a bug in release 6? or am i just doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.
