Palm Computing will definitely NOT guarantee this behavior in future versions of POSE. 
However, for existing compilations...

Be aware that SysBatteryInfo is equally trivial to spoof, therefore it's no more or 
less reliable than the feature, and you've now told the world how to fool your app.
