You guessed correctly: the launch codes are only sent if the app selected for the
HotSync button (either one) is set to the HotSync app. It's hard coded. The HotSync
buttons are hard keys with codes hardCradleChr and hardCradleChr2. Isn't there some
way to detect whether your app was launched with a hard key?
