By the way, this is one of the things that new programmers to the Palm OS
platform find very frustrating. You should not have to come into a new platform
and immediately have to roll your own function to replace a missing capability
in something as basic as StrPrintF, just to be able to display floating point
numbers on the screen.

What were the API folks at Palm thinking when they left this out? That floating
point numbers were not interesting? They would not have to be displayed if they
were used in a program? The world is full of integers?

I was amazed when I stumbled into this last week and had to dig through the
archives to find that it's really not supported. It has been added to my list of
disappointing features for the device. It's not a show-stopper, but it's disappointing.
