I am trying to establish a PPP connection from a Palm OS v3.2 to a Windows98
machine using the Dial Up Networking Server (DUNS.) I have successfully
done this with a Palm III OS v3.0.2 but cannot get it to work with the newer
OS.
The problem seems to be related to the fact that OS3.0.2 is using PAP to
verify passwords and OS3.2 has changed to use CHAP. Unfortunately the CHAP
authentication is failing. Worse yet OS3.2 connect fine to Windows NT RAS
server.
Please, any suggestions?
The ultimate goal is to get an TCP/IP connection with Win98, doesn't matter
how.
