The App Info block usually stores information related to the entire database
or application, rather than to a particular record. Hence, fair game for the
App Info block would be categories and labels. You can also store stuff like
running totals or a last used sequence number.

The App Info block is typically initialized in AppStart(). Cal DmGetAppInfoID
(refDB) to determine if there already is an app info block established,
otherwise create one.

Subject: Application Info Block

Why store field labels in the Application Info block structure? And where
are they initialized in the application/implementation?
