I apologize if people get this twice, but I posted this a few days ago, and
I did not see it appear on the discussion group.
I want to set up a network environment, where there will be 10 points of
access. At each point of Access, I want the user to sync back with the
main server to retrieve the store their latest information.
My question is with the basic Network Sync. I am restricted to one user
syncing at a time at each of the 10 Access Points. In other words, if two
people start a sync at the same time, does one just wait until the first
Palm completes, and then the second goes. The reason for this question is
I might have 40 people wanting to sync at the same time. If each sync
lasts about a minute, then some poor person will be waiting 40 minutes for
their turn.
Any advice or knowledge people have there would be greatly appreciated.
