I biased (I live in the south of England) but my vote would be for London,
Heathrow.
That is where the main airport is and there are numerous hotels around - in
fact, there
is a Novotel there and I attended a developers conference there earlier this
year.

Again its a personal choice but it seems to me that Conduit/serial port
programming
(in DOS as well as Windoze) is a large and important subject especially for
those
of us tackling enterprise projects. In particular I like to see some
examples of how
the various OCX conduit products are used (Satforms, Palm and Ehand). Along
the same lines I'd like to see how to use the conduit .DLLs in languages
other than
C++.
Data mangement seems another likely candidate for much the same reasons - it
would be interesting to see _real_ sessions on how the major database
engines
work (good source for sponsorship too!).
