Hi,
I'm new to Palm OS programming and CodeWarrior.
I bought a Palm IIIx and CodeWarrior Release 6 a few days ago.
I'm having problems with Palm OS Emulator.
I've download the ROM Image from my Palm IIIx.
I'm getting the following error when I try to setup a New Session:
"Could not create a new session because the chosen ROM file cannot be used
with the specified hardware device."
I start emulator.exe and then click on the 'New' button.
The settings in the New Session dialog box are:
Device Palm III (note: not Palm IIIx)
Silkscreen English
Ram Size 1024K
ROM File c:\program files\metrowerks\cw for palm os r6\palm os
emulator\palm.rom
After I click the 'New' button, I click the 'Device' dropdown which has
already chosen 'Palm III'.
I get a list of Palm devices and Palm IIIx is in the list but they are all
disabled?
I'm not able to choose 'Palm IIIx'.
What am I doing wrong?
Am I getting the error because of the conflict between the Device setting
and my actual device?
